POSITION SUMMARY:
The role of the BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER is to identify new business opportunities, build strong relationships with clients, and expand market presence.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS:
▪ Identify emerging trends and market opportunities in the industry.
▪ Initiate outreach efforts through networking, industry events, and other lead-generation strategies.
▪ Seek out the appropriate contacts in an organization to sign up with them and improve our client base.
▪ Create proposals, pitches, and presentations to persuade potential clients to work with the organization.
▪ Negotiating contracts and closing deals with clients.
▪ Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to increase brand visibility and promote new products or services.
▪ Participate in industry events and conferences to stay up-to-date with market trends and potential opportunities.
▪ Prepare reports and presentations for senior management, outlining progress and growth on revenue, market penetration, and client acquisition.
▪ Achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets through the departmental KPI’s.
▪ Find new tenders, applying and submitting it on time.
▪ Support the whole team to achieve the target on time.
▪ Manage the brand image of the group.
▪ Provide trustworthy feedback and sales reports for the Sales Director
▪ Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
▪ Negotiating payment terms and payment plans as per GSS policies especially with B2B clients requesting for credit terms.
▪ Additionally, managing a client's debts and credit with GSS, and ensuring that outstanding debts are collected on time.
EXPERIENCE:
▪ 5 years’ experience in a sales role
QUALIFICATIONS:
▪ Degree in Business Administration or an Engineering graduate
SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE:
▪ Microsoft WORD, EXCEL, OUTLOOK, POWERPOINT, CRM Software,
▪ Client portals like Oracle, SAP etc.
