Job Summary:We are seeking a qualified and experienced Offshore Safety Induction & Emergency Training Instructor to deliver comprehensive safety training programs to offshore personnel. The instructor will be responsible for conducting safety inductions, emergency response training, and ensuring compliance with industry safety standards. The role requires strong communication skills, practical knowledge of offshore safety procedures, and the ability to foster a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging safety induction and emergency response training to new and existing offshore personnel.
  • Develop and update training materials in line with industry regulations and company policies.
  • Conduct practical emergency drills, including fire, rescue, first aid, and evacuation procedures.
  • Evaluate trainees’ performance and provide feedback to ensure understanding and competency.
  • Maintain accurate training records and certification documentation.
  • Ensure all training activities comply with relevant safety standards and regulations.
  • Identify training needs and propose improvements to existing training programs.
  • Promote a safety culture among offshore teams and ensure adherence to safety protocols.

Requirements:

  • Relevant offshore safety training and certificates, such as BOSIET
  • Proven experience as a safety trainer or instructor in an offshore environment.
  • Strong knowledge of offshore safety procedures, emergency response, and industry regulations.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to effectively conduct both theoretical and practical training sessions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in the oil & gas, maritime, or related industries.
  • Certifications in first aid, firefighting, and rescue operations.
  • Recognised Teaching & Assessors Qualification
