JOB TITLE: General Manager

 

REPORTING TO: Managing Director

 

NO OF POSITIONS: 1 

 

ABOUT COMPANY: Global Safety Services Group, Inc. GSS Training 

 

LOCATION: Kochi, India

 

MOBILIZATION: Immediate

 

 

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE: 

 

    • A minimum of 10 years experience in a Senior Management Role.
    • Experience managing within an 'aggressive growth company.
    • Experience in the Inspection of Equipment (mainly in any of these pieces of equipment - Crane, Lifting Equipment)
    • Offshore experience for Lifting Equipment.

 

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS: 

 

    • A Degree preferably in Mechanical/Civil Engineering
    • MER Level 1 First Aid Qualification.

 

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE:

    • Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook

 

JOB DESCRIPTION: The role of the GENERAL MANAGER is to plan, execute, and monitor entire activities while driving continuous improvement and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

     Key Responsibilities & Tasks:

  • Develop and implement the company's overall strategy and business objectives in alignment with corporate goals.
  • Monitor market trends to identify new business opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Oversee all aspects of Inspection Services to ensure high-quality standards and timely delivery.
  • Optimize resource utilization, including personnel, equipment, and technology.
  • Monitor effective implementation of all projects and recommendations to improve operations and increase profit.
  • Establish and maintain effective formal and informal links with major customers, relevant government departments and agencies, local authorities, key decision-makers, and other stakeholders to exchange information and ensure service quality.
  • Represent the company at industry events, fostering partnerships and enhancing the company's brand.
  • Review financial reports and make strategic decisions to enhance performance and growth.
  • Monitor expenses and compare them with budget forecasts to ensure financial objectives are met.
  • Monitor all activities associated with business operations and ensure compliance with the GSSG Quality Management System.
  • Ensure profitability and financial stability through effective cost control, resource optimization, and revenue generation strategies.
  • Ensure adherence to all statutory regulations, industry standards, and internal policies.

 

 

WORKING HOURS: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM

WORKING DAYS: Monday to Friday

ANNUAL LEAVE: 28 Days

FINANCIAL PACKAGE: Salary 1,80,000 (All inclusive)
