JOB TITLE: Deck Painter (Offshore)

LOCATION: Doha, Qatar
MOBILIZATION: Immediate
FINANCIAL PACKAGE: Salary QAR (On-rotation - 4,970 | Off-rotation - 1,400) + Accommodation + Food + Transportation + Visa & Tickets
ROTATION: 42/42
WORKING HOURS: 12 hours per day
WORKING DAYS: 07 days a week
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE:

- A minimum of 02 years of Offshore experience in a similar role
- Good experience with Offshore spray painting
- A minimum of 03 -05 years of Gulf experience.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

- A High School Graduate, a Diploma or a Degree
- Good communication skills in English
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Prepare all surfaces to be sprayed properly.
- Be knowledgeable as to what bushings and associated transformer accessories must be masked to prevent them from being painted.
- Check the Bills of Materials for the correct colour and specified mull thickness.
- Record the serial number of units repainted and affixed to the unit for identification.
- Adjust and periodically check all pump pressures, heater temperatures, and air fluid pressures to maintain the best possible spraying application condition.
- Check and maintain proper fluid and air pressure in pressure pots used for spraying all special colours.
- Check units with great care to ensure that no areas have been missed.
- Change filters and maintain the cleanliness of the spray booth associates' floor on a scheduled basis.
- Clean and lubricate all spray guns at the end of the shifts. Clean and maintain personal respirator on a scheduled basis.
- Procure all paints from the Paint Room as needed, using a hand cart and barrel truck.
- Regularly inspect painted equipment.
- Keep the work area clean.
- Follow all Company Safety Rules.
