JOB TITLE: QC Coating Inspector (Offshore)

 

NO OF POSITIONS: 16

 

ABOUT COMPANY: A Leading Integrated and Innovative Service Provider for Onshore and Offshore Assets in the Middle East

 

LOCATION: Doha, Qatar

 

MOBILIZATION: Immediate

 

FINANCIAL PACKAGE: Salary QAR (On-rotation - 12,542 | Off-rotation - 1,167) + Accommodation + Food + Transportation + Visa & Tickets

 

ROTATION: 35/35

 

WORKING HOURS: 12 hours per day

 

WORKING DAYS: 07 days a week

 

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE:

    • A minimum of 02 years of Offshore experience in a similar role
    • A minimum of 05 -08 years of  Gulf experience.

 

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:      

    • NACE Level 2 -3 
    • IRATA Level 1
    • Good communication skills in English

 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Execute the specific inspections on materials, equipment and construction/installation activities.
  • Issue the relevant Quality Records and, when necessary, write and send them to the Quality Control Supervisor non-conformance reports.
  • Control of storage and certification of consumables
  • Perform qualifications of the coating process.
  • Check surface preparation
  • Check and record atmospheric conditions before starting painting operations.
  • Carry out wet and dry film thickness checks.
  • Monitor observations of the correct coding cycles.
  • Verify the correct colour-coding and painting.
  • Perform Visual inspections
  • Perform adhesion testing.
  • Perform penetration testing.
  • Evaluate impact testing.
  • Perform visual checks after blasting
