The Role

As an IT Manager for a Group of companies, you will oversee the IT infrastructure and systems across our subsidiaries, including training platforms at locations in India, Qatar, Abu Dhabi and the UK. This strategic role involves building and managing an IT teams as the company brings in-house these external services. You will need to ensure system security and implement technology solutions to enhance efficiency in course delivery, client management, inspections, and administrative processes group-wide.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain IT infrastructure across Group entities, including networks, servers, hardware, and software systems for Qatar, Abu Dhabi, and India.
• Oversee CRM, booking systems, and digital platforms to support sales, coordination, inspections, and client enquiries for training courses and services.
• Implement and monitor cybersecurity measures to protect sensitive data across subsidiaries, ensuring compliance with GDPR, regional regulations, and industry standards.
• Lead IT projects such as system upgrades.
• Provide technical support to staff across locations, troubleshoot issues, and train users on IT tools and software.
• Collaborate with management to align IT strategies with group business goals, including budgeting, vendor management, and cross-subsidiary integration.
• Ensure backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans are in place and tested regularly for all operations.
• Contribute to digital transformation efforts, such as adopting cloud solutions, virtual training platforms, or manpower digital tools at JP Energy.

Requirements

Essential:

• Proven experience as an IT Manager or similar role (minimum 5 years), preferably in multi-entity groups, education, or service industries.
• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Cisco, Microsoft).
• Strong knowledge of network administration, cybersecurity, CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), cloud computing, and multi-site operations.
• Proficiency in hardware/software troubleshooting, Windows/Linux environments, and database management.
• Excellent leadership and project management skills, with the ability to manage remote or distributed IT teams.
• Understanding of data protection regulations and IT best practices in training, inspection, and manpower environments.
• For candidates with strong IT background but no industry experience, full orientation will be provided.

Desirable:

• Multilingual skills, such as English, Hindi, Urdu, Malayalam, or Arabic, for group-wide communication.
• Experience in budgeting, vendor negotiation, IT procurement, and international operations.
