Job Description

JOB TITLE: HSE Inspector.

 

NO OF POSITIONS:  01

 

NATIONALITY: Indian. Limited by Visa Quota.

 

AGE LIMIT:  Below 50

 

ABOUT COMPANY:  A reputed Maritime Company in Dubai.

 

FINANCIAL PACKAGE: AED 9000 - 10,000 per month + Accommodation + Food + Transportation.

 

MOBILISATION: Immediate.

 

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum 03 years of experience working as an HSE Inspector.
  • Minimum 02 years of experience in Offshore construction with exposure to the installation of jackets, decks, bridges, pipelines/risers, hook/tie-ins etc., as appropriate.

ESSENTIAL  QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Three-year diploma post-secondary in Fire & Safety Management or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • NEBOSH / IOSH Diploma or an equivalent internationally recognised HSE certification.
  • Well-versed knowledge of  HSE standards.
  • Fluent written & spoken English language.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Perform audits, to ensure that marine units engaged in projects meet all contractual requirements most cost-effectively and efficiently. Primarily involved in planning, coordinating and monitoring activities of the audit schedule of the barges and vessels.
  • Ensure that timely readiness of vessels are engaged in projects from a compliance standpoint.
  • Educate field personnel on rules and regulations and statutory requirements to guarantee a continued high level of compliance.
  • Verify the correct implementation of company lifting standards and quality procedures onboard barges.
  • Ensures barge equipment is compliant with the latest rules and regulations.
  • Attend all client inspections on board the barges and create good working rapport with the client inspectors.
  • Inspect barge certificates and ensure all are correctly formatted and up to date.
  • Ensure all HSE fixed or mobile equipment (LSA /FFA) as per approved safety plan are inspected as per the company HSE standards.
  • Conduct audits on board the vessel and identify the NCRs for close-out action.
