FINANCIAL PACKAGE: Salary USD 175 - 200 USD Per Day + Food + Accommodation + Transportation + Insurance
JOB LOCATION: Saudi Arabia
PROJECT: Onshore
MOBILIZATION: Immediately
CONTRACT DURATION: 20 days, after that extendable based on the Project requirements.
WORKING HOURS: 8 hours/Day
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 04 years of experience in a similar role.
- Familiarity with using Ex-inspection software.
- Should have in depth knowledge of IEC60079-0, IEC60079-10,14 & 17 and their practical applications.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a B Tech degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- CompEx Ex01 - Ex04 Certification
- Should have a good command of English
NOTE: CompEx Ex01 - Ex04 Certificate from KL Training Centre will not be accepted
SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Responsible for Conducting thorough inspections, functional testing, and electrical measurements on electrical systems, telecommunication equipment, or instrumentation devices to verify compliance with project specifications, relevant standards (e.g., IEC, NEC), and safety regulations.
- Responsible for preparing detailed inspection reports, test records, and quality documentation, documenting observations, deviations, and corrective actions taken.
- Ensure that the electrical, telecommunication or instrumentation systems adhere to CompEx or ICEx certification standards for hazardous area installations.
- Verify compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, industry best practices, and client-specific quality standards.
- Responsible for performing risk assessments and hazard identification exercises to assess the safety and integrity of electrical, telecommunication or instrumentation systems within hazardous environments.
- Responsible for Inspection of incoming materials & equipment and making sure it in good condition and good preservation
- Organize and execute inspection jobs with professionalism.
- Executes the specific inspections on materials, equipment and construction/installation activities on site.
- Identify the correct national regulations directives and ASC standards which apply to hazardous locations
- Identify the correct test value readings for IS and non-IS installations and equipment
- The candidate will be supported in obtaining the role of Authorised Electrical Person, including High Voltage working, as well as maintaining COMPEX competency to be authorised to work on EX-rated equipment.
- Ensure all duties and assigned activities are carried out in compliance with statutory legal requirements and the company’s quality, health & safety and environmental policies.
- Perform inspections in accordance with the ITP (Inspection and Test Plan).
- Ability to coordinate with clients for the preparations and inspection, as per agreed scope of work or inspection plan.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: COVID-19 vaccination certificate confirming 2nd dose, and an in-date passport with 6 months validity are required.
