ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 4 to 5 years of experience in the same role preferably in the Oil & Gas Industry.
- Minimum 03 years of GCC experience in the same role is preferable.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering/ O & G/ EPC/Pipping/Primavera
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Developing and maintaining projects’ master schedules and projects’ status for Client / Senior Project Management review.
- Preparing /Updating project control procedures and project planning packages for assigned projects.
- Establishing Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) & detailed schedules using CPM/PERT as applicable.
- Developing and maintaining Project Progress Measurement System in line with Client requirements.
- Establishing and monitoring project progress based on key milestones and performance indicators (KPIs).
- Analyzing, evaluating and forecasting project progress against an established baseline schedule. Assessing and notifying the impact(s) of any changes and schedule slippages.
- Providing timely schedule impact reviews and integrated project schedule updates.
- Preparing graphs, diagrams, and other exhibits to illustrate project progress/cost status and forecast requirements for the Client / Project team.
- Ensuring projects are executed within the contractual duration and allowed budgets and identify/issue potential variations to the Client.
- Coordinating with team members to ensure all project activities are completed in a timely manner, and identify and report any potential delays.
- Devising strategies to overcome schedule slippages through various met Head of the Departments such as using industry-related technical knowledge, innovating shortcuts or alternative ways acceptable to Client/Company, improvising with available resources, scheduling overtime to meet the deadline, and the like.
- Preparing recovery schedules and/or time impact analysis.
- Integrating resources and costs into schedules for budgets, expenditure and resource analysis.
- Preparing & tracking invoices as per the invoicing procedures.
- Reviewing /approving EPC contractors’ / Subcontractors’ / Vendors’ Project Control deliverables including project schedules, progress measurements system, reporting requirements etc.
- Preparing and issuing weekly/monthly reports as stipulated by the client on agreed cut-off dates to assess the project progress, shortfalls, concerns etc.
- Coordinating and regulating various meetings such as project progress review meetings.
- Assisting the Head of Department in assessing the requirements for staff training and the technical performance of staff.
- Assisting the Head of Department in the management of the department workload.
- Participating in the Company’s mentoring program to assist and mentor younger, less experienced engineers.
- Assisting with Proposals, Tender bid documents
- Monitoring the costs within. the allocated project budget and advise the project manager/Project Control Manager of any over/underspending on a timely basis.
