ABOUT COMPANY: Large JV between the state oil company and a private company, established 25 years.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 2.5 years of experience on Scaffolding.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of a High School Pass, Must hold a valid CISRS level-1, OPITO BOSIET or T-BOSIET and OPITO H2S.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Fixing the scaffolding to the building or structure to make it more stable, using short ‘tie tubes’
• Laying planks (battens) across the scaffolding for workers to walk on
• Putting up the scaffolding poles (standards) and attaching the horizontal tubes (ledgers) to them with couples
• Unloading scaffolding equipment at the site
• Fixing guard rails and safety netting
• Taking down the scaffolding after a job is finished.
• Setting base plates on the ground at regular intervals (these stop the upright poles slipping)
• Other related duties, as required.

SKILLS TESTING: English language to a level that satisfies the standards of the Safety English Test (SET). Trade / Skills Test prior to mobilisation.

FINANCIAL PACKAGE: 45usd a day.
